Public Law 106-50 ; Introduced in 1999 to help disabled veterans in their
business endeavors and offered a Government-Wide goal that stated not less the
3% of each total value of all prime contract/subcontract awards for each year be allocated to a SDVOB.

Public Law 108-183; Established in December 2003, further offers five elements
to the law; a)  Sole Source Contracts, Restricted Competition, Relationship to other
Contracting Preferences, Enforcement (Penalties) and Contracting  Officer Guidelines

Executive Order 13360 - Established October 20, 2004 sets policies to provide opportunities for service disabled veteran businesses to increase their federal contracting and sub contracting.
